JANICE HOLSTON KNIGHT

On the 20th day of December 1956, Janice Holston was born to William and Addie Holston Springfield (biological father, Johnny Butts)

Janice joined Little Rocky Mount Free Will Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful member until her death.

In 1982, she met and married Ronnie Lee Knight and to this union, one son was born, Vincent Tyrone Knight. Janice had worked as a seamstress.

On Friday, October 2, 2026 at 3:42 p.m., Janice answered the Lord’s call while she was at Flowers Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Addie Springfield.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her son Vincent Knight; four sisters, Betty Brantley, Mary Springfield, Linda Springfield, all of Dothan, AL and Brenda Curry, Panama City, FL; four brothers, William Springfield, Jr., Steve Springfield, Roy Springfield, all of Panama City, FL and Eric (Shannon) Springfield, Geneva County, AL; a very special aunt, Gloria Allen and 12 nieces and nephews, a step nephew, Brandon Wright and a host of aunts and uncles.

VISITATION WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2026 FROM 3 - 6 P.M. AT HORACE WILLIAMS MORTUARY, 1457 E. MAIN ST., DOTHAN, AL.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10. 2026 AT 2:00 P.M. AT LITTLE ROCKY MOUNT FREE WILL BAPTIST CHURCH, TUMBLETON, AL. BURIAL TO FOLLOW AT THE CHURCH'S CEMETERY.
